The Holiday Hot Chocolate #feelingChristmassy

It's the most wonderful time of the year.... . It's all getting so christmassy right now with the Christmas market in my hometown and I'm currently listening to the chilly Christmas sounds (and maybe rocking around my room). As announced in my last post I will start a series with the title #feelingChristmassy, where I will post one post each week to give you the weekly potion of holly, jolly feeling to bring you into the Christmas spirit. Today I will show you the best hot chocolate, the world has ever seen (doubtless better than every beverage from Starbucks). So let's get started :)

First of all you will need this small amount of ingredients:

-300 ml of milk
-two pieces of white chocolate couverture
-one packaing of Swiss Hot Chocolate instant cocoa powder or some spoons of any other instant hot chocolate powder
-a little bit of cinnamon for the spice
-whipped cream for the topping
-also for topping: Chocolate sprinkles and ground bourbon vanilla

1. Mix the instant cacao powder with the milk and heat it on the cooker until the powder is completely dissolved in the milk.

2. Then cut the white chocolate couverture (the special ingredient) in small pieces and add it in the pot and mix it until it's melted.

3.Add in the cinnamon to add a special, christmassy spice to you Hot Chocolate (typically Christmas spice, which can not be missing). Don't forget to stir your ingredients to make sure that they don't get burnt. After that you take your pot from the plate and fill your finished Hot Chocolate in a cute Christmas mug.

4. Next step: decorating. It would look boring without a fancy topping. You can decorate it like you want to do, but I went for whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles with a hint of bourbon vanilla.

And trust me: It was delicious! Best Hot Chocolate in the world. So tasty and it really got me into the Christmas mood (maybe the hot chocolate plus watching Santa Clause). And et voila here is the result (you have to say: it looks amazing):

Question of today:
What do you think should not be missed at Christmas time?

Hope you liked this post and if you want to you can send me pictures from your "Holiday Hot Chocolate" via twitter (@_Karina_0601) if you try out the recipe :)

I'm really looking forward to your feedback and have a nice advent time and we will see us this weekend with 'My top decoration ideas' on Sunday,
