The Empties || Tops and Flops

Well, today I will give you some reviews of my recent used up products. This post includes empties from hair to skincare (everything is involved). The opinions are my own and I can just say what I regard from using this products. It's not a guarentee, that you will like /don't like a product aswell. Opinions can vary and it's just how I found the products.

The Tops || including picks from Bioderma,Batiste and Dove etc.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution | This has been an absolute favourite of mine! It's maybe the most hyped makeup remover product ever so there isn't much to say about it. It just removes the makeup quickly and dependable without leaving any makeup residues. I know it's a little bit more pricey (but totally worth the money and specialised for sensitive skin, doesn't burn in the eyes) but I think compared to its dupes it's just the winner at the end (Comparison with another similar product soon, so stay tuned!)

Lavera 2-in-1 Cleansing Lotion | Well that is my go-to rescue product (already mentioned in my July Favourites last year) when it's monday morning and I'm not in the mood to get ready. It just gives you a fresh kick and makes you feel more awake. The lotion really leaves your skin smooth and hydrated, because of Jojoba and Sheabutter. I think this in combination with the Bioderma Micelle Water are my all time skincare favourites. They just do what they promise and never let me down when I'm having a bad skin day. And a plus: It's vegan and because of that only with natural ingredients.

Nesti Dante Il Frutteto Bath and Shower Liquid Soap | This product I bought in Italy a long time ago, because I always loved Nesti Dante (before I tried the shower gel, I have always known that they have the most amazing smelling soaps) because my grandma used to love the soaps so much. This one is made with Natural olive oil, red grape leaves and lemon extract. All ingredients are also from natural origins. The smell is really fresh and citrus like and I absolutely loved it! Because of the olive oil it leaves your skin baby-soft.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter | Well it's from Soap and Glory so I don't need to talk about this too long. It just smells like the typical Soap and Glory scent and it was used up really quickly, because of this scent. Also really hydrating and I will definitely buy the bigger size of it as this has been a travel size I bought at Heathrow Airport when I was in London, but only then when I use up my hundred other body lotions (my family knows too much that I love pamper products so my shelfes are closed because of overcrowding.

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo | Well I found this at my local drugstore and it looked good because of the gold packaging (packaging victim) so I thought to give it a go. And it hasn't disappointed me I rather was very impressed, because it left my hair shiny and smooth and I loved the feeling after I washed them (in opposite to my current hair product, I will mention in my flops afterwards). And I have bought this again, so I can't wait to use it again. It's also a good budget buy, so you definitely should check this one out, if you are looking for a hair product, which hydrates your hair but doesn't weight it dow.

Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo | Also a hyped range and for me the best dry shampoos (already reviewed: http://thebowkarina.blogspot.de/2014/09/12-things-i-loved-in-this-summer.html   )of all. This is like my lifesaver at school time when I have learned too long and it's too late to wash my hair, so I also grab for this in the morning to have another day with fresh hair. It's just something I won't miss in my hair routine and I always rebuy it when it's used up. Not just for another day with fresh hair to get away from greasy hair, but also a volume maker to get your hair more textured.

The Flops || including picks from Pantene Pro-V, Soap and Glory etc.

Pantene Pro-V Repair and Protect Shampoo | This has been a love- hate product. It left my hair smooth and shiny but after one day I had the feeling that my hair went greasy a bit faster at usual. And this was annoying, because I could wash my hair more than with an other hair shampoo. It also smelled okay (a bit synthetic, but not too bad). I'm happy that I used it up, because it didn't fit to my hair.

Soap and Glory Glad Hair Day Shampoo | Yes, you read right, I criticise a Soap and Glory product but with that I luckily haven't bought the big size of it. It just smells like a chemical apricot (not the usual good smelling S&G scent) and left my hair a little bit sticky and I haven't seen a difference to my hair before the washing. Also I found the texture to liquidy, so I won't buy this product again.

Aussie Volume Shampoo | Third hair shampoo in a row, but also a good and bad product: It smells not too good, really hard to describe this scent but it just wasn't my favourite (you get use to it with the time). Also left my hair a bit sticky and with the described scent. But at one point it does its job: It gives you volume like hell! (for me too much as I have voluminous hair, so it wasn't the right product for me). The scent is a bit weird, but if you want volume it could be the right product for you.

Nivea Soft Face Cream | The scent is nice, just like all Nivea Products. The product hydrates your skin very good if you have really dry skin, but for mine it was too hydrating and too greasy and hasn't soaked in well, so I will try rather some other products as it hasn't been specialised for my skin. But if you have dry skin, maybe it could help wonders with your skin, it's really skin type dependent.

Tell me if you have used one of the products and how you find it.
I'm looking forward to your opinions!

See you next time,

Why being so absent lately?! #TheWeekendPost

Yes, I'm back after nearly two months without blogging. I'm so sorry that I haven't written any blogposts in the last time. And I promise I missed it. It was just because I hadn't time for anything (not even painting my nails like whaat?), because of school and all that kind of stuff.

And know I'm sitting in the sun at my balcony (do you see: Spring is coming!) and writing a blogpost (good that I remember how to write posts after such a long time) to keep you updated.
In the past two months I was (like already mentioned) busy with learning and doing homeworks because of the coming exams (there are also two to pass until I have my easter holidays). So I was using the weekend to learn and besides I worked at the wholefood shop to gain some money for my upcoming school trip to Straßburg with my friends.

Also we had to choose our advanced courses for next year, which is the Q-Level (and then hopefully only two more year to go until the next final exam), and in the end I've chosen German and English, even though I thought about choosing Art instead of German. But I think (hope) I did the right decision, and I will also continue with Art lessons but just as a basic course (I love Art, but I think I'm not good enough for an advanced course, so German is more my thing). Talking about Art I will try to take more time to paint, because it really relaxes me and I have so many ideas for a painting or drawing.

Also I joined the people who fast, so I challenged myself not to eat any sweets, crisps or too much sugar until the 5th Avril (Easter Sunday) and as you can tell it is really hard if you do this aware (not that you picture myself as a cookie monster who eats nonstop). It's just because I want to eat more healthier and combine that with more sport.

In February I went out with some friends and we had a really nice evening whilst trinking cocktails and having a sleepover (because we are all not that carnival type #sorrynotsorry). Then one of my bestest friends had her 18th Birthday and we celebrated it with bowling and eating pizza and it was really good. I also went to the Cinema with one schoolfriend (like we usually do every month whoops) and we saw "Into the Woods" with the bunch of Hollywood godesses, but it was actually really disappointing, because the storyline was not comprehensible at the middle of the film (it's actually really confusing: the story is finished and then the film makes up another story where everything is destroyed and some people die, which wasn't needed). But hey, good film until the middle.Next week we will watch "Cinderella" (because you know Disney is a must) and hopefully this will be better (but can we just talk about how wonderful the dress of Cinderella is).
And has to be mentioned:  I had a really nice Pancake Sunday with my friends (healthy pancakes obvs with spelt flour) because Sundays are for Pancakes and chatting whilst playing some good ol' Tabu.

One particular obsession (and not so typical for me) is watching series. I have to say, I never was into series that much and didn't cared about them (can we just not count Hannah Montana as a series, because it was a long time ago when I watched it) but I brought myself to buy the first season of Gossip Girl (late to the train like always) and watched it within 7 days. This tv series is just amazing! I mean the storyline is perfect and I think this is the perfect one for me. I love everything about it, the characters, the style, just everything (also Nate Archibald, who looks like heaven). Also bought the first season of Pretty Little Liars and OMG it's so thrilling. I had to convince myself to watch it because I'm not into mystery series. But this is just sooo good and has a great storyline too. But I have to say that I prefer Gossip Girl a bit more, because it's less creepier but I think with PLL the curiosity will win, to find out who A is.

Next amazing news is that I started my driving lesson last tuesday (I had two already and the next is in the holidays during my theory crash course) and I really do like it! It was like dreaming, because I drove a damn car. And also it was lovely weather to drive. I'm so looking forward to my next lesson!

Because of my driving lessons I had to do an eye test, where opticians find out that my right eye is seeing a bit harder (0,75 strength) than the other one, which is 100 percent okay. So I was trying to wear lenses, but I had problems with putting them in (just have to try it again when I have time) and for this reason I got glasses, because it's easier to put on the glasses if you are in a hurry. And even I didn't want any glasses at first, I convinced myself to get one and it's just the most beautiful glasses I've ever seen. It's an eyeglass model which is from the brand Etnia Barcelona and really special. It has a wood optic at the outside and at the insinde there are colourful sprenkles, which you can just see when you look at the glasses from the side.

Some new additions talking about fashion, lifestyle and beauty are just a white pair of classic Converse I got from Asos (now 6 Euro more expensive than mine); a really beautiful red lipstick for everyday (Artdeco Hydra Lip Colour in 22-hydra infra-red -> get it here:http://www.artdeco.de/hydra-lip-color-185-3667.html#option-29), because I searched for one for a really long time; a leather jacket (combined with blazer material) from Vero Moda, I got in the sales; the book "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn (which I wanted to read for a long time and have heard good things about it, even if it was more like an emergency buy at this point, because I had to wait one more hour for my train, because I missed the other one) and last but not least a wonderful rosegold watch from Fossil (https://www.christ.de/product/85936182/fossil-damenuhr-es3151/index.html) with a gift voucer I was given at my birthday.

So this was my little update. Just to say: I will not stop blogging, but sometimes other things are a bit more important. Thank u for your support and I would be happy about some comments to start communicating with you a bit more. Also I plan to do more Outfit posts on this blog, so keep updated.
Next blogpost depends on you:
Would you rather like a "Skincare Routine" or an "Empties Reviewed"?
I'm looking forward to your comments! :)

Have a good time and bye bye,
Karina <3
