Deco Inspirations for the Summer

Deco Inspirations Spring/Summer

Deco Inspirations Spring/Summer von the-bow, outdoor patio furniture enthaltend

Well today I want to show you my recent deco wishes. As I have decorated and furnished my room last year, I now want to change some little things to make it perfect. To get some Inspiration I created a collage on Polyvore and I have to say: I can't wait to decorate my room new with all this beautiful things. The most things are from Ikea (as per usual) and some items are hard to get in Germany so I will have to look around for some similar products. I will list the items after this introduction. I hope to give you some Inspiration with this post and will keep you updated on how my room will change after re-decorating it. So stay tuned!

Jo Malone Candle in "English Pear"- whenever I walk into the beauty stores
I sniff at this and I know, I have to get it one day, even if it's a bit more expensive
(and even if I have so many other scented candles I have to use up)

Vintage Clock "Dekad" Ikea - just cute and very vintage
(hope it doesn't tick because this quite annoys me)

Clothes Rank "Mulig" Ikea - really useful when planning outfits and helps to organise my closet

Geometric Terrarium for Plants from Amazon - I think this looks just cool and very stylish

Geometrical Pillow "Lappljung" Ikea - also fits in the white-black kinda minimalistic decorated room

Leaves Pillow "Stockholm" - I just like to collect stylish pillows so here's another one, which also fits

Fujifilm Polaroid Camera in White - it's been so long since I wanted a Polaroid Camera, because I love to capture moments with my friends and with that you have the printout just after taking the photograph, but I think I have to wait until Christmas or my Birthday

K-Pillow Asda - because who doesn't want a pillow with the own initials?!,
but this one is from Asda so it's complicated to get it in Germany

"Storsele" Armchair Ikea - I also wanted a new armchair for my dressing table and this would look great with the blanket and one of the many pillows

Fairy Lights from Amazon - because Fairy Lights make everything nicer and cosier

Quote Art Print from Etsy - not sure if I will buy it from Etsy or print it out myself at a drugstore, but I can't wait to get one

Cream Plaid from H&M - would fit perfectly to the armachair and is also very simple

Hope to inspired some of you and can't wait to show you the results!
See ya soon,

10 Things I loved in April and May #SpringFavourites

Hello and welcome to another "10 things I loved in the last two months" post and today it's all about my April and May Favourites as we are heading into June and I thought to show you some of my most loved items, which should definitely be mentioned in a post.

First of all let's talk about all things beauty - this month I had a little problem with my dehydrated skin, so it needed a bit of an extra moisturising before applying my makeup in the morning. For that I used the Balea nature Daily Cream with Organic olive oil which smells absolutely natural and has a great effect to the skin. I think it's perfect for a slightly dehydrated and more dry skin, so it was the perfect one for me. It keeped my skin hydrated throughout the day and didn't make my makeup slip away. It's also without silicons, minerals and dyes. It's also really cheap- about 2-3 euros, so it's an absolute bargain.

This month I thought it was really needed to get a new concealer brush for spots and under the eyes, because my Real Techniques Foundation Brush was a bit to big for these small parts. As I'm also a fan of Zoeva Brushes and loving my Blender Brush since I got it, I got the Concealer Buffer (142), I heard good things about. It fits perfectly under my eyes and is very precise when it comes to covering spots. I really like it, because there isn't the problem to get too much of the concealer product under the eyes or at a spot. Also the brush hair is really soft and has a great quality for it's price (about 6-7 euros I think?!).

Because I had much stress with learning for exams (every day, every night) and wanted to treated myself, I decided to buy a new Mac Lipstick and researched on many blogs to find a slightly coral and summery shade. When it came to decide between Mac "Lustering" and "Crosswires", I went for the Crosswire, because it is a gorgeous pink-coral-glittery (you know I'm bad in decribing colours) lipstick and has a Cremesheen Finish, so it's really smooth on the lips and hydrates them aswell. I've wearing this nonstop ever since I got it. But unluckily there is a minus about this: As I will tell you later in this post, I confronted myelf with getting to know which cosmetic brands use animals for testing the cosmetics. As I am totally against it and trying to be careful with buying cosmetics tested by animals from now on, I got to know that Mac (besides many other makeup brands- you can't believe how much there are) still uses animal testing, so I will (even if I like Mac)try to buy less until nothing from them, because of that. Animal Testing is such a cruelity and we should fight against it. Nevertheless, I had to show you this lipstick because it was a favourite of mine and I bought it before getting to know that they are testing on animals.

Moving onto fashion, I wore my Only Trenchcoat nearly every day, because it's so easy to combine with other clothing items and adds a bit of elegancy and simplicity to a whole outfit, even if it's a basic one. As it hasn't been so much summery at all, it was perfect for the windy days.

Also I absolutely adored my Zara Mini City Bag, I bought last year, because you can't believe how much fits in this little bag because of all the pockets and zippers. Also fits to everything and can be combined very elegant or easy and basic.

Well, this month there are quite a lot lifestyle favourites, I want to show you. First starting with my big dicoverd love "Netflix", which had me addicted to watch more series (and can't stop switching them out) like PLL and Gossip Girl. As I got pretty obsessed with Pretty Little Liars the last months (I'm know at the end of season 4) I've watched this nearly every day to relax from school. Can we just appreciate how good it is (I mean everything loves it), just thrilling and addictive. Can't wait to see more from it and I'm very excited to watch season 6, which is airing since this week. Well I've drifted apart from talking about Netflix, but Netflix is here the main favourite. Just perfect for watching series and movies and the price is totally okay, for what you get.

A dvd, I waited to be released since I saw it in the cinemas, has been Love,Rosie, a perfect romantic movie with the best actor duet out there (Sam Claflin and Lily Collins are just perfect in their roles). The movie is about two best friends, who are slightly more than that, but who don't want to admit it and living their lives different but still can't get over one another. Last year, I have seen this movie in the cinema with one of my bestest friends and we were waiting to get in on DvD ever since then. I have also read the book and the storyline is just perfect, so you have to give it a watch. The movie is absolutely worth watching it!

One website I discovered while getting to know a bit more about cruelty-free cosmetic brandy has been http://www.wermachtwas.info/  from Animal's Liberty, who are listing every cosmetic brand and identify them with a special label (red-do test on animals, green- cruelty-free f.e.). This is great to get to know, which cosmetic brands you should focus on. I confronted myself extensively with that difficult topic in this month, because Ema from http://everythingissorosy.blogspot.de/  talked about animal testing and dangerous ingredients in cosmetica in one of her posts. Thank you for confronting us with that topic. I will definitely pay attention to it more, because I'm absolutely against animal testing, because it's such a cruel thing to harm animals and it should be forbidden. So I decided to use up all my products (or these which test on animals) and restock an amount of cruelty-free cosmetic items. And just to say: Not all cruelty-brands are expensive. Also it's worth on some parts to spend a bit more money, when you can avoid something like that. We have to make ourselves aware of that problem and raise our voice against it.

One foodie favourite shouldn't been missing and that are sweet potatoe fries, I could eat everyday (no kidding) because I'm addicted to them. So tasty and perfect, with some herbs, like rosemary, a special flower mix we have from a brand called "Sonnentor" and pepper and salt. Just top everything with olive oil, get it into the oven and they are ready to eat after a few minutes. Also a way more healthier alternative to fries.

Last but not least the biggest favourite of all months from 2015: Well, as you know from my last post I was at a 5 Seconds of Summer Concert in Munich this month with my bestest friends and it was amazing! Such a good night and we had the time of our lives. They are honestly soo good on stage and their voices are just perfect! Can't wait to see them again soon and still delighted by the memory, which is one of the best memories from this year. If you are going to one of their concerts let me say: It will be fun and you will have the best time ever! And until next time: Watching the videos on repeat and hearing their songs on endless loop. Take me back!

Today's Question:
What have been your spring favourites?
And are you going to a 5Sos Concert this year?

So that's it for today and see you next time,
