10 things I loved in December and January

So it's that time of the month again where I show you my most loved things from December and January. I have been loving quite a lot of items but I reduced it to ten things to keep this post as short as I can. I hope you like it and wish you a great time whilst reading this post. Let's do this!

Well December and January were quite cold so I needed an extra potion of moisturise for face and body. I rediscovered an old love (which I probably have for at least more than a year but forgot about oops) and used it in combination with a shower gel of my choice. It's the Flake Away Scrub from Soap and Glory (award for best scent) and absolutely amazing! It's not too coarse (I don't like peelings which are too coarse) but it does its actually job with giving you a good scrub. It has the typically Soap and Glory scent (which lasts for about three days after using it) with shea butter (so it really leaves your skin smooth), sugar (for the ultimate scrub) and peachcorn powder. Smells amazing and was/is a great attendant in the wintery month aswell as in spring.
Now to a skincare pick I got from a gift voucher and which was an absolute bargain (around 3€)! It's the Alverde Face Oil with wildrose, which I was interested in for more than a month. You can use it under your evening face cream (just 4 drops for the whole face) and it comes with a handy pipette to apply the oil at your face. The oil isn't greasy and just nourishes your face to avoid dry patches (as my face is very dry in the t-zone at the moment).I plan to do an skincare routine as first post for February, so I will inform you more about how I use it in combination with other products.

I also had three massive faves speaking about makeup. I loved my new Mac Frost Eyeshadow in the most gorgeous colour "Sable", which is like a bronze, dark champagney, a little bit glittery colour (man that was a description, well maybe you just look for it at the counter, i'm so bad at describing colours). It really gives your eyes a special expression and let the eyes shine. The quality of that is also amazing!

The perfect combination with the eyeshadow is my next fave I got for Christmas, which is the Lancome Grandiose Mascara. Can we all appreciate the packaging? This packaging is stunningly beautiful (kinda reminds me of Sleeping Beauty, with the dark rose). The mascara is said to give you big volume with definition and it absolutely does what it promises: The lashes stay voluminous all day and the brush is also very good to reach your inner lashes to give definition beginning from the inner lashes. The mascara colour is really dark black so it gives the lashes more drama. So in conclusion it can be said that this mascara is really grandiose!

And of course my favourite nail polish from Essie could not be missing. Today it's the colour bordeaux, a dark festive red (with a hint of brown in it) I was absolutely loving these two months. Mostly I am rather natural when it comes to the nails but as it was Christmas and my Birthday I wanted to try something more suitable for the wintery season.

Moving to fashion I got a jeans jacket filled with faux sheep fur from Topshop (the one I showed you in my Christmas Wishlist). It's just so casual and goes with everything. Plus it keeps you cosy and warm at the insight because of the faux fur. It's slightly a bit (just a bit) oversized and kinda with a acid wash(which makes it more vintage-like).I wear it nonstop. Here you can get mine: http://eu.topshop.com/en/tseu/product/clothing-485092/jackets-coats-2390890/denim-jackets-485238/moto-light-stone-borg-western-jacket-3367093?refinements=category~%5B339643|339534%5D&bi=1&ps=20

Another fashion pick is my "Kendal"coat from River Island, which is slightly a bit egg shaped. Until the waist it's black streaked with grey and then it's just black and at the forearms it has a leather section. It's also made from wool which makes it super cosy. As many of my wardrobe picks, combineable with everything, but I use to combine it with a light pink pastell scarf or with my Zara scarf shown in the photo below. For lifestyle I listenend to many new songs, got a few decoration items for my birthday and christmas but I will keep it short with that today. So I want to show you my super-cute candy cane cup made by my best friend Francisca for Christmas 2014. It's like my new favourite mug because it has my name "Karina" on it with a heart. I'm so happy that I got it from Francisca, it's so special. Thank u, Franci <3.

Well and last but not least some random event favourites. Here I will talk first about Christmas and Silvester (as one event from the last year) and then about my Birthday (first memory in 2015). I had a wonderful Christmas Eve with my family whilst talking, eating a great meal and unwrapping the presents. Then it came to the last big event of the year: New Year's Eve, which I celebrated with my best friends watching Happy New Year, eating another great (grand) meal, talking and playing Tabu (that was when the obsession started) and afterwards we had a sleepover were we talked until 5:30 in the morning (and sleeped afterwards for 5 hours).

First memorable day of 2015 was my birthday as always. Celebrated it with my family (and at the 8th January with my friends) as usual. Visited my grandma and grandpa because they couldn't come and had a mini birthday there before getting back home to prepare some afternoon tea for my guests. Had a lil round up of Tabu and ate good (you can tell I ate far too good at this festive season). Thanks to all who have come to celebrate this birthday with me.

Question today:
What have you been loving the past two month?

So this was my last post for January and I will see you again with another new post in February.
Have a great time,
Karina <3
